1. General Provisions
The Race Organisation supported races are reserved for registered drivers with invited cars.

2. Overall Principle
Club racing essentially provides the opportunity for drivers to race their cars in a friendly atmosphere to be enjoyed by all involved. The major guiding principle of the activity must be amateur sport.
Registered drivers are reminded that they only race by invitation of Race Organisation. Race Organisation sets out the following guidelines, which it intends to use when inviting prospective competitors and their cars for races in the coming year. The selection of invitees is intended to ensure that all registered competitors are catered for. We endeavour to provide opportunities for all to race whilst providing a variety of race and spectator appeal for both sponsors and event organisers.

3. Entrants & Drivers
Race Organisation would like to reinforce one of the objects of registration by stating that priority in the invitation process will be given to registered owner/drivers and those who lend or share their cars to or with other registered competitors. ‘Professional’ drivers may be invited on a one-off basis but should they wish to race with Race Organisation a second time, they will be required to register. Sportsmanlike behaviour, both on and off the track, cannot be over emphasised. Other important factors in the selection process will be consistent support of Race Organisation, length of involvement, reliability, presentation of cars, and standard of driving.

4. Safety & Driving Standards
Safety can be defined as “safety items are those which provide some freedom from danger or risks, be they materialistic or humanistic.”
Race Organisation is very conscious of the need for a high standard of both driving and track behaviour. Safety is of paramount importance at all times. Professional cut and thrust, leading to dangerous situations, is positively discouraged, as safety concessions are enjoyed by club racers, and cars are valuable. Aggressive driving is unwelcome, yet an attitude of good hard competition, within the bounds of good sportsmanship, is encouraged.
Race Organisation is also concerned about contact accidents. In order that the spectacle of Race Organisation’s events on the track is consistent with the high profile image we have with event organisers, sponsors, and the public, registered competitors who drive in a boorish way, or have a high accident rate, are unlikely to be considered for race selection.
Race Organisation will require that the following declaration is signed by the owner, and driver if different, of any car entered in a race supported by Race Organisation.
“I am the owner/driver of the car and understand that I race by invitation of Race Organisation only. I agree to abide by Race Organisation’s rules and guidelines and will conduct myself in a considerate and sporting manner both on and off the track.”

5. Complaints Procedure
If you feel strongly about anything relating to the conduct of Race Organisation, please address it in writing to Race Organisation where it can be properly discussed and action taken. If any registered competitor feels they have just cause to complain after a Race Organisation race they should approach Brian Bailey for the incident to be discussed.

6. Licences
Drivers and competitors must hold appropriate and valid National or FIA International competition race licences. Any grade of International Race licence, either ‘A’, ‘B’, or ‘C’, or MSA National ‘B’ or higher grade licences or, if issued by the ASN of the competitor, an International Historic Race licence, are appropriate.

7. Events
Each event will stand alone from previous and subsequent events. Race Organisation aims to encourage reliability at the events we support by holding races of greater than normal duration for club events and double header rounds on occasion.

8. Cars
Race Organisation requires that cars competing in Race Organisation supported races are presented in a manner befitting the high profile image Race Organisation has with event organisers, sponsors, and the public.
Declared details of all cars entered must be accurate. Race Organisation will consider the merits of all cars registered competitors offer up, even if they do not naturally fall into the standard categories. Race Organisation reserves the right to place such cars in the category it considers suitable or not to invite them to race. Race Organisation reserves the right to amalgamate categories as required.

9. Scrutineering
Whenever possible Race Organisation will arrange for the cars to be checked by scrutineers with experience of the cars eligible to race with Race Organisation. In addition ‘parc ferme’ will not be used unless demanded by the event organiser.
